Doç.Dr. Mehmet İlker Gökçe

Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi İngilizce Tıp bölümünden 2006 yılındaDoç. Dr. Mekmet İlker Gökçe mezun oldu. Aynı yıl Eylül 2006 Tıpta Uzmanlık Sınavında başarılı olarak Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Üroloji Anabilim Dalında uzmanlık eğitimine başladı. Uzmanlık eğitimi sırasında özellikle endoüroloji ve üriner sistem taşları üzerine çalışmalarını devam ettirdi ve tıpta uzmanlık eğitimini ‘Perkütan nefrolitotomi operasyonu sonrası rezidüel taşların belirlenmesinde direkt üriner sistem grafisi ve ultrasonografinin etkinliğinin kontrastsız bilgisayarlı tomografi ile karşılaştırmalı değerlendirilmesi’ başlıklı tez çalışması ile tamamladı.

Kasım 2011 tarihine devlet mecburi hizmet yükümlülüğü kapsamında Sorgun Devlet Hastanesinde göreve başladı ve Haziran 2013 tarihinde mecburi hizmet yükümlülüğünü tamamladı. Ardından Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Üroloji Anabilim dalında öğretim görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başladı. Bu süreçte endoüroloji ve üriner sistem taş hastalığı konusunda çalışmalarına devam etti. Özelikle supin pozisyonda perkütan nefrolitotomi, endoskopi kombine intrarenal cerrahi ve retrograd intrarenal cerrahi üzerine klinik çalışmalarına devam etti.

Tübitak tarafından verilen 2219 Yurtdışı doktora sonrası araştırma bursunu almaya hak kazanarak Temmuz 2015 – Temmuz 2016 tarihleri arasında Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center bünyesinde endoüroloji ve robotik cerrahi üzerine çalışmalarda bulundu. Nisan 2018 döneminde açılan doçentlik başvuru döneminde başarılı olarak Üniversitelerarası Kurul tarafından Temmuz 2018 de Üroloji Doçenti ünvanı verildi.

Halen Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Üroloji Anabilim Dalında Doçent Doktor olarak görev yapmaktadır. Klinik aktivitelerinin ve bilimsel çalışmalarını yalnızca endoüroloji ve ürienr sistem taş hastalıkları üzerine yapmaktadır. Bu sayede aralık 2019 itibariyle yalnızca taş cerrahisinde 3000 vakanın üzerinde bir cerrahi deneyime sahiptir. Uluslararası ve ulusal dergilerde yayınlanmış 112 bilimsel makalesi ve bu makalelere yapılmış 484 atıf bulunmaktadır (H İndexi: 10).

Uluslararası Bilimsel Aktiviteler

Ekim 2018 tarihinden itibaren International Alliance of Urolithiasis (IAU) üyesi olup bu dernek tarafından her yıl düzenlenen toplantılarda aktif olarak görev almaktadır. Eylül 2019 da Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti Guangzhou Şehrinde düzenlenen toplantıda Canlı yayında Supin pozisyonda perkütan nefrolitotomi ameliyatı gerçekleştirmiştir. Yine aynı toplantıda üriner sitem de doğuştan anormallik bulunan olgularda cerrahi yaklaşımlar üzerine deneyimlerini paylaşmıştır.

Avrupa Üroloji Derneği Üriner sistem taş hastalıkları çalışma grubunda (EULIS) Associate board member olarak bilimsel aktivitelerine devam etmektedir. EULIS bünyesinde Klinik araştırmalar çalışma grubunun kurucu üyesi olarak uluslararası çok merkezli çalışmalar gerçekleştirmektedir.
